Privacy Policy

I respect your privacy, and this policy explains how I collect and handle any information you provide. You won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text. I have no intention of tricking you into agreeing to something you might later regret.

My policy covers:

  • Why I value your privacy
  • What information I hold
  • Where I store your information
  • What I use your information for
  • Who’s responsible for your information
  • Who has access to your information
  • The steps I take to keep your information private

Why I value your privacy

I value your privacy as much as I do my own, so I’m committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. I’m uncomfortable with the amount of information that companies, governments, and other organizations keep on file, so I only ask for the bare minimum from my customers. I will never use your personal information for any reason other than why you provided it, and I will never give anyone access to it unless I’m legally required to do so.

How I collect information

I ask for contact information—including your name, email address, and phone number—on my website so I can respond to your inquiry. My website doesn’t use cookies or scripts designed to track your browsing activity. I also don’t use Google Analytics or social media ‘like’ or ‘sharing’ buttons that build profiles of your internet activity.

What information I hold

When you contact me by email, I collect your name, email address, the company you work for and budget range if you’ve provided that information.

If you do business with me, I collect your business name and bank details and keep records of the invoices I send you and the payments you make.

Where I store your information

When we do business, I store your information in FreeAgent, my accounting software. I chose this system partly because of its strong security measures.

What I use your information for

I may occasionally use your contact information to send you details about my products and services. If I do, you’ll always have the option to unsubscribe, and I won’t send further communications if you opt out. I may also email or call you about my products and services, but if you ask me not to, I won’t contact you again. I also use your information to send invoices, statements, or reminders.

Who’s responsible for your information

I, Adam Wilson, am responsible for the security of your information. If you have any concerns about the information I store, you can contact me at [email protected]. I take privacy complaints very seriously, so if you have any issues, please reach out to me by email.

Who has access to your information

When I store information in my systems, only the people who need it have access. My team has access to everything you’ve provided, but individual employees only have access to what they need to do their job.

The steps I take to keep your information private

When storing information in third-party services, I restrict access to only those who need it. I store passwords in an encrypted password manager and use a different randomly generated password for each service, and never reuse passwords. My mobile devices are also protected by fingerprint or facial recognition.

Changes to this policy

If I make any changes to this policy, they will take effect immediately upon being published on my website.
