My principles for a healthy website
A website that stays secure and is updated regularly has the best chance for success. A website is like an engine in that it needs servicing to avoid major problems and keep running smoothly.
Experienced site maintenance
I maintain a wide range of websites, from large-scale e-commerce stores to small charity websites. My maintenance packages ensure your website runs without a hitch.
Over the years I’ve solved all sorts of issues such as unreliable hosts, hacked websites, and payments failing. I aim to minimise the chances of any issues happening with sound advice and best practices.

What I will do:
- Update your website regularly to avoid security issues
- Enable uptime monitoring which alerts me if your site goes down
- Keep daily backups to ensure a restoration point
- Secure your website by auditing bad code and dangerous users
- Offer email and telephone support
- Respond in a reasonable time frame
What I won’t do:
- Guarantee 100% uptime or that your site will never be hacked – there are a million ways this can happen so any site is potentially vulnerable but I will give you my 10+ years of knowledge on how to avoid it!
- Be available at 3 am or ungodly hours – I like to sleep!
- Use or recommend insecure hosting platforms or plugins
- Offer personal tech support – such as fixing your computer or emails. Just turn it off and on again
