My principles for good design
Design can be a complex and lengthy process, or it can be an iterative and collaborative one. When I design your website I aim for a clean and modern design which is built to last:
Finely tuned web design
I am multi-disciplined in both design and development. In short, this means I can complete the full process of building your website. I have a creative eye and love looking for exciting projects which push boundaries.
My design ethos is one of simplicity so that a wide array of users can navigate your website with ease. I often choose legible, battle-tested fonts with accessible colour palettes.
Adam has a real skill for responding to a brief clearly, but also offering options and taking time to understand what is needed as the project develops. The working processes he has in place mean that it’s easy to follow what is happening at each stage.

What I will do:
- Design a clear and easy-to-use website
- Ensure navigation is easy
- Use accessible colours
- Justify my design decisions based on experience
- Set clear deadlines and meetings for iterative feedback
What I won’t do:
- Do endless amends based on whims. I prefer to offer solid direction which is much more effective
- Completely copy other websites. AI is already better than me at this
- Reuse your design with another client. Your website should be unique
- Move pixels around the screen on demand. I aim to offer more meaningful value than this
